Introduced by Ida Hooker in Olympia WA around 70 years ago, this deep purple corn has grown in popularity in recent years. This corn is known for its exceptional sweet flavor and ideal stalks. Each stalk will grow to around 4-4.5 feet tall and produce 5-7 ears of corn each.Due to its sweetness, this corn is not only delicious on its own, but it's perfect for drying and grinding into corn flour. Surprise friends and family with a purple cornbread loaf, or cornbread muffins!
