An ear of Dakota Black Corn.

Dakota Black corn seeds

SKU: D87160

Dakota Black corn is a unique heirloom that has a nutty and earthy flavor. The kernels have a bite to them compared to other corn varieties. Each cob is packed with kernels that can be eaten fresh with butter, or dried and used as popping corn. The cobs can also be dried and used

The kernels are rich in fiber and incredibly filling. Eating this corn could qualify as a meal in itself on account of its heartiness.

Dakota black developed slightly earlier than other varieties so it's a good option for folks in colder zones with shorter growing seasons. The stalks will reach upwards of 6 feet with about 4 - 6 ears of corn, each one is about 4 - 6 inches in length.
