Lacy Phacelia Flower seeds

Lacy Phacelia Flower seeds

SKU: LP4867

This powerful pollinator attractor belongs to the borage family. The Lacy Phacelia is an annual that can grow 2-3 feet tall. Each stem harnesses unique, feathery curled tansy-type leaves that are covered with stiff hairs. Blue-lavender bell-shaped flowers ornate the top in clusters near the stem tops. The flower stamens are incredibly long, disproportionate to the flowers they come out of, creating a stunning and unique visual.

These will bloom in early spring, and keep producing bright blue-lavender flowers throughout the summer. The Lacy Phacelia will ensure a steady stream of bees and pollinators are present in your garden. Increased pollinators lead to heavier vegetable and fruit yields and a lower population of harmful insects.

These will grow well in containers if you are limited on space.  These are incredibly easy to grow and thrive in poor soil. The blooms they produce are heavy in nectar so these will attract a lot of bumble and honey bees, and butterflies.
