Calendula flower seed mix

Calendula is a flower that belongs to the daisy family. Although its origins are unknown, it began showing up in southern Europe and is now common worldwide. Calendula was originally used as a medicinal plant. 
 
The flowers pose with an open bloom and suggest a welcoming landing pad for pollinators of all kinds. The flowers have soft petals that grow in a range of beautiful orange and yellow hues. The plant is edible although the leaves are very bitter, but can be tamed by mixing it with various other mild greens like lettuce, spinach, and kale. The petals can be used as a garnish or to dye foods such as vegan cheeses. Calendula also makes a great tea, and also has external benefits for the body.
