Cosmos got its name from the Greek word 'kosmos' which translates into beautiful, and appropriately so. Cosmos come in a lot of different shapes and sizes. This variety has soft pink, fuchsia, and pastel purple striped petals.
Cosmos are easy to grow, require little effort, and are powerful magnets for beneficial insects and pollinators. They also have numerous medicinal uses.
Cosmos do well in full sun but they can grow in partial sun as well. These can get anywhere from 3-5 feet. They bloom from mid-spring to late fall.
