A variety of flowers that attract bees and other pollinators.

Save The Bees wildflower seed mix

SKU: STB530

1/3 of the food we eat depends on the pollination provided by bees. Bees have been on the decline since the mid-1980s. Several factors are causing this decline, these include the Varroa mite, the tracheal mite, commercial pesticides, and more recently, murder hornets. Without bees, food resources would suffer incomprehensible levels.

This mix is optimal for encouraging bee survival and reproduction. SAVE THE BEES! mix attracts all types of bees (Golden Northern, buff-tailed bumblebee, Bombus, American Bumblebee, Brown-banded, shorthaired, honey bee, etc.) Be it Honey type, bumble type, etc, all bees benefit as this mix contains perennials and annuals that are pollen and nectar heavy.

For honey bees, it provides feedstock for beekeepers. In addition, with the attraction of the bees, your garden and vegetables will certainly benefit as well. These flowers will bloom from Spring through Fall and will benefit other pollinators as well. This mix contains flowers that are compatible with short-tongued and long-tongued bees.

It will be easy to create a bee refuge or preserve by planting this seed. You can also mix with grass seed to create additional shade for the bees. Bees like to picnic too right?
