Pumpkin on a stick seeds

SKU: P20209

Despite this fun variety's name, it's actually an eggplant! It really is, but this member of the nightshade family is amazing in itself in that it grows into long stems that will fruit numerous flat eggplants that resemble a mini pumpkin. They start green and deepen to intense red-orange color. You can leave them on to dry and use them as a decoration for wreaths, displays, table settings, etc. You can also eat the eggplants as well. Pumpkin on a stick has also earned the name "pumpkin bush" for how it appears.

These are incredibly fun to grow. We used these in some "Halloween flower bouquets" we gave to some friends. These can be hung dried and kept for wreaths or decoration as well. These little eggplants are edible but they are not palatable at all due to their intense bitterness. These are perennials but can be grown as annuals in colder zones and overwintered. These can reach between 2-3 feet tall.
