Moranga pumpkin seed
This rare variety hails from Brazil and is best known for preparing a dish known as Camarao na Moranga, which translates into "shrimps in squash" where the pumpkin is filled with a creamy shrimp stew and served with the inside flesh. This gorgeous pumpkin weighs around 5-8 pounds and will range in color from pink to deep salmon. The color of this pumpkin is an intense dark pink-salmon color. Since this is a winter squash, the shelf life is generous. This will last 6-8 months if kept at a cooler temperature (50-60 degrees. F). The average yield is around 2-3 fruits per vine. Moranga is extremely heat tolerant.
