Moon and Stars Watermelon seeds
Such a fitting name for such a beautiful melon! Moon and Stars watermelon is an old heirloom. This melon was first introduced by the Henderson seed company back in 1926. The rind is a deep dark green with yellow specks and splotches. There will be one big yellow spot that has been deemed the "moon". This celestial-themed heirloom boasts a deep red sweet flesh.
Each melon can grow up to 25-20 pounds. These can be round but often become more oblong when they ripen. These will need full sun, long hot days, and somewhat sandy well-draining soil.
