Blue Prince F1 Pumpkin seeds

This AAS winner has earned its name! In trials, the Blue Prince F1  pumpkin outperformed several like varieties in earlier maturity, yield, fruit size, uniformity, taste, color, and texture. It also outperformed its other comparable variety the Crown Prince pumpkin. 
 
Unlike the Crown Prince, the Blue Prince is a flatter, larger pumpkin. It slightly resembles a blue-grey long island cheese. The thick vines are vigorous and will produce pumpkins that are 7 - 9 pounds. The flesh is not stringy, but it is dense and both savory and sweet. When baked, the flesh becomes creamy and smooth. Due to its ability to mature quickly, this is ideal for those who have a shorter growing season. The Blue Prince is also tolerant to many diseases including powdery mildew.
