The exterior is covered with significant but subtle ribbing. Trials for this pumpkin yielded a consistent and reliable 2 plants per vine. This variety has impressive resistance to powdery mildew.
Mellow yellow will add contrast to pumpkin patches or displays on account of its bright lemon-yellow hue. This variety is also edible, but the flesh is stringy and less desirable than pie varieties. These are also excellent carving pumpkins.
