Trailing Nasturtium Flower (Glorious Gleam) seed mix
This mix of seeds is similar to the nasturtium flower seed mix with the exception of the colors being more jeweled colored, and these are trailing nasturtiums. The blooms are deep hues of red, oranges, yellows, and creams. Some blooms will be solid, others may be multi-colored. The stems are so long, the blooms can either crawl along the ground and act as ground cover, or they can cascade downwards. This makes this variety ideal for multi-level rock gardens, the edges of flower gardens or raised beds, containers, window boxes, and hanging baskets especially. These can also be trained to trellis.
Like all other nasturtiums, the entire plant is edible and rich in vitamins. They make a great garnish for salads or cocktails. These also work great as companion plants as they deter pests by acting as bait. Leaf miners will flock to these instead of your vegetables. The bright colors will also attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
