Romanesco Broccoli seeds
Romanesco broccoli produces one large head of intricate fractal geometrically perfect patterns. This is an heirloom variety that has been around for a bit. Its origins date back to the 16th century in Italy. The flavor has been described as a softer broccoli flavor with a slight nuttiness. This variety is best served raw or lightly cooked. Anything more would rob it of its unique flavor.
Each Romanesco head will reach 8" across. These will need full sun and 12" spacing. You can start these indoors and transplant them after the last chance of frost has passed. These can also be grown in containers.
