Poblano Chili seeds
One of our favorites! Originating from Mexico, the Poblano chili is the go-to for making chili Rellenos, culichi , and several other Latin dishes. This chili can be dried (in this form it is known as the ancho chili). This chili boasts a dark rich green color, a shiny exterior, an elongated shape, and a unique flavor. Poblano chilis are much milder that other varieites. The flavor is vegetal with subtle grassy notes. If left to turn red, the flavor is more earthy. Poblanos flavor is only enhanced if fire roasted during preparation. These are versatile and taste great cooked or raw.
