Knucklehead F1 Pumpkin seeds
The Knucklehead F1 Pumpkin is a hybrid variety and part of a specialty group of pumpkins known as Superfreak which was bred and cultivated by Siegers Seed Co in Holland, MI. These pumpkins were specifically bred for their warty bumpy skin and elongated shape. These guys make amazing jack-o-lanterns that are bound to win any contest! This is a powdery mildew-resistant variety.
From seed to harvest, expect around 105 days. This pumpkin is usually orange and covered in warty bumps, but some develop both orange and green bumps. Each pumpkin vine can be expected to provide around 2-3 plants per vine. Pumpkins will average 12" high and around 10" wide. Vines average about 10 -12 feet long.
These are considered both ornamental and edible and can be supplemented in recipes that may include squash.
