Summer Island F1 Bunching Scallion seeds
Summer Island is an award-winning Japanese hybrid scallion that is non-bulbing, with a subtle sweet mellow flavor. The stalks can reach around 12 inches in length. The tops are a deep jade hue with the base an ivory white. These are ideal for stir fries, salads, grilling, and savory dishes. Try these minced up and incorporated into homemade veggie burgers.
These can be started indoors or sown outside. These can be sown prior to your last frost as they are frost tolerant. Sow these late fall/early spring and again in middle to late fall for a second harvest.
