Autumn Frost F1 (Koginut) pumpkin seeds

SKU: D254028

The Autumn Frost pumpkin (or koginut squash ) is a highly decorative pumpkin that is elegant with the taste and texture of a fine-grained squash. This variety is a hybrid and belongs to the butternut family.

The exterior is coated with a thin layer of a waxy bloom that resembles frost, hence the name.  The Autumn frost is shaped like mini butternut squash with a pumpkin exterior. This variety has a semi-sweet earthy taste, and the flesh is ideal for bread, pumpkin butter, and roasting. Like all Winter squash, this also has an incredible shelf life and can last 8 - 12 months.

The Autumn Frost is also POWDERY MILDEW RESISTANT and is highly productive. Expect squash 100 - 110 days after sowing the seeds. Vines produce 9 -1 0 fruit.

*Treated and untreated seeds are available. Treated seeds are seeds that have been treated with a fungicide (anti-fungus) sulfur compound to prevent disease and mildew, increase germination, increase plant health, and increase fruit yield. Plants grown from treated seeds are safe for consumption and safe for pollinators and beneficial insects.
